Calvary Baptist Church WW1 Memorial
A wooden memorial plaque removed to Brynmawr Museum from Calvary Baptist Church in King Street, Brynmawr before the original church was converted to a Buddhist Temple.
Once integral to a memorial organ, this wooden plaque, which was dedicated on 12 November 1924, records the names of 5 men from the congregation who were killed in the First World War. The memorial comprises a framed wooden plaque with gold, hand painted lettering. Dimensions of the plaque: height 602 cm; width 1043 cm; depth 32 cm. It is in good condition.
