WW1 Roll Of Honour, 421st Corps of the Salvation Army, Abertillery
WW1 Roll Of Honour, 421st Corps of the Salvation Army, Abertillery situated at Salvation Army Citadel, Hill Street, Abertillery.
Roll of Honour – laser or inkjet printed list clearly superimposed on an earlier, probably original template on paper in a wooden, glazed frame. (Frame dimensions: 793mm h x 550mm w x 20mm d).
It is evident that the Roll of Honour has been recently re-framed and glazed. Regrettably the original text, which may have been hand-written, may be concealed beneath the reproduced, facsimile list of names and regiments, and could not be examined.
Inscription: For / King Country & Humanity / ROLL OF HONOUR / FOR THE BRAVE MEN WHO HAVE GONE FORTH AT THE CALL OF DUTY / FROM THE 421st CORPS OF THE SALVATION ARMY ABERTILLERY / TO THE GREAT EUROPEAN WAR OF 1914
