Francis Cousins, 3 Pleasant View, Llanhilleth - Royal Navy
One of our First World War Research Group visited Zion Miner’s Chapel in Llanhilleth to record and photograph an unusual memorial – a light switch panel dedicated to Francis Cousins of 3 Pleasant View, Llanhilleth. Francis served in the Royal Navy during the First World War and his service record indicates that he was an electrician by trade. It’s possible that he may even have installed the lighting system in the chapel.
